Vitamin B-12 (cobalamin) is an essential nutrient vital for carbohydrate metabolism, energy production and protein formation.* Vitamin B-12 plays an important role in the formation of healthy red blood cells.*

Methylcobalamin (Methyl B-12) is better absorbed and retained than other forms of B-12 such as cyanocobalamin. Methylcobalamin is an active coenzyme of the vitamin B12 analogs, which are essential for cell growth and replication and is required for the formation of methionine from homocysteine.*
